Nickel Plated Master Link #40

#40 nickel plated master link (connecting link) for #40 roller chain. It has a removable side plate, so you can join or open the chain without a chain press. The nickel plating resists rust better than plain steel links in wet or coastal areas. Sold individually. Use it to close a new drive chain on a slide gate operator or to rejoin chain after a repair. Most installs need one link at each chain bolt. Features Fits #40 roller chain, 1/2 in pitch Joins chain ends without a chain press Removable side plate Nickel plated for corrosion resistance Before You Order Order the same chain size as your chain. A #40 link will not fit other chain sizes. #40 and #41 share the same 1/2 in pitch but are not interchangeable. A typical slide gate chain uses two master links, one at each chain bolt. Set the quantity to match. Need to change chain length by one pitch? Add a #40 nickel plated half link. Other nickel plated master link sizes: #41, #50 and #65. Match the finish to your chain. A nickel plated link keeps the same corrosion resistance as nickel plated chain.
