Nickel Plated Half Link #41

#41 nickel plated half link (offset link) for #41 roller chain. It adds one pitch to the chain so you can use an odd number of pitches and fine-tune length. The nickel plating resists rust better than plain steel links in wet or coastal areas. Sold individually. Use it on slide gate operator drive chain when a full link leaves the chain too long or too short for the chain bolts to set tension. A #41 half link will not fit other chain sizes. A half link is not a master link. You still need a #41 nickel plated master link to close the chain. Most gate chains do not need a half link. Use one only when chain bolt travel can't take up the extra length. Other nickel plated half link sizes: #40, #50 and #65. Match the finish to your chain. A nickel plated link keeps the same corrosion resistance as nickel plated chain.
