Floema Side Table

The Floema Side Table, designed by acclaimed Italian designer Luca Nichetto for Wendelbo, reimagines geometric fundamentals through a lens of refined minimalism where absence becomes presence. This sophisticated accent piece is defined by its complete lack of sharp edges and corners, creating a continuous visual flow that embodies welcoming elegance through its gently curved silhouette. The seemingly weightless tabletop appears to float above its delicate black powder-coated steel frame, creating a visual tension that belies the table's exceptional stability. This careful balance between substance and lightness makes the Floema an ideal complement to both structured and organic seating arrangements. The premium material options elevate the Floema beyond mere functionality to become a tactile pleasure point within sophisticated living spaces. Choose between the cool sophistication of exclusive marble, the warm natural character of solid walnut, or the sleek practicality of black laminate—each option carefully selected to enhance the table's sculptural form while providing different sensory experiences that complement various interior palettes. When positioned beside a statement lounge chair in a reading nook, the Floema creates an intimate moment for displaying treasured objects or providing a surface for evening refreshments. In luxurious hospitality settings, multiple Floema tables arranged at varying heights create dynamic compositions that serve both practical and aesthetic functions—transforming transitional spaces into carefully considered design statements. True to Nichetto's design philosophy of blending Scandinavian functionalism with Italian expressiveness, the Floema exemplifies how geometric simplicity, when executed with exceptional attention to proportion and detail, can create furniture that transcends trends to become a timeless element in thoughtfully composed interiors.
