Nice Apollo A2072 (20207299) is the smart speed sensor for the Apollo 816 and 816X swing gate actuators. It reads motor travel so the control board can track gate position and speed. The sensor mounts in the back housing of the 816. Replace it when the board loses track of the gate, reverses for no clear reason or reports a sensor fault. Fits Apollo 816 actuator Apollo 816X actuator Before You Order A2072 is listed for 816 actuators only. The 416 does not use this sensor. Have the actuator off power before opening the back housing.
