NGK 97506 "2 Step Colder" Spark Plugs

NGK Laser Iridium High Ignitability spark plugs offer the best combination of performance and longevity. Engineered specifically for OE applications, Laser Iridium High Ignitability spark plugs are tested to the highest standards to ensure quality and durability. Iridium tipped center electrode provides durability six times harder than platinum. NGKs high grade pure alumina ceramic and 98 percent pure copper core prevents the spark plug from overheating while providing reliable starts. Laser Iridium High Ignitability spark plugs feature raised platinum pad or platinum fine wire tip on the ground electrode for even wear in distributorless ignition systems and improved spark performance.  These NGK Laser Iridium replacement plugs are factory standard in BMW N20 & S55 engines and are suggested for most turbo BMW engine including the N20, N54, N55, S55, N63, N63TU, S63, and S63TU applications. They are 2 steps colder than stock N54 plugs and suggested for higher boost E85, water/meth injection, and/or upgraded turbocharger applications across all late model turbo BMW models. We suggest setting the gap down to 0.020". Beware of counterfeit NGK plugs being sold for $5-10 each on eBay and Amazon. They do not offer the same performance, lifespan, and knock resistance. NGK plugs from MGG are guaranteed authentic. Features & Benefits Often specified as original equipment, NGK Laser Iridium spark plugs are the best combination of performance and longevity.
