This hinge is for shutters hung flush with the casing (full inset) Hinge measures 4-1/4" vertical and 5" horizontal. Width is 1'. Pintle plate is 3-1/8" by 1-1/8". The 1-1/4" Offset model is for wood frame construction and has a throw dimensions of 2-1/2". The 2-1/4" Offset model is for brick construction and has a throw dimensions of 4-1/2". Loose joint hinges permit easy hanging and removal of shutters. This product is sold by the set. A set is 4 hinges, enough to do 2 shutters.
