At this precious time, this is how it is meant to be. I healed very quickly and I am left with an enchanting life experience so memorable that decades later, in the middle of a hectic moment, I still think back to those serene moments."   "I use the New Mama for post surgical therapy after my hysterectemy. It was an hour drive for the hospital and a friend drew a bath and it helped clear me. New Mama helped with the feeling of intrusion and relaxed me so I could sleep. My cat likes the aroma and sits on the side of the tub by me whenever I use New Mama!" M.O., KS   "I had a totally natural home birth. My doula recommended this product for after delivery, so I ordered it way in advance. It's expensive, but soooo worth it! I only wish I'd ordered 2 jars. I tore quite a bit but decided against stitches. My doula had me soak twice a day right after delivery. It was amazing how much relief I felt. Right after my daughter was born, she and I both took a bath in this stuff. The doula reassured me that it was safe - she has 8 kids herself and took baths with all of them using the New Mama Tush. As I was in the bath with these salts later on in the week after delivery, I could actually feel my tissue tightening and healing back up. I'm so impressed by this stuff!!!"   "I bought this because the other reviews convinced me that it would help me so much after childbirth, and it did! It calls for 1/2 cup in the bath each time, but I only used 2-3 tablespoon scoops each time instead to make it last longer. That way, it lasts a whole month for me. After enduring completely natural childbirth and tearing my perineum and choosing not to have stitches, I can say that New Mama bath soak helped me SO much! I honestly don't know what I'd do without it! I will definitely buy this again for whenever I have another baby!" "Awesome sits bath! Refreshing to use!"   "These bath salts were recommended to me by a friend after my first child was born. It is very soothing and seems to help with the healing process. I used it again after my next two children were born. It makes a bit of a mess in the bathtub - lots of little herb pieces floating around - but it is worth it."   " only used this once because it stained my very old claw foot tub pretty badly. The ring it left looked pretty nasty. Also, something you don't think about as a first time PREGO lady: you can't take baths for 6-8 weeks after having the baby! Not good as a post-partum gift. Great for 2nd or 3rd trimester lady with achy parts who has someone else who is able to bend down and clean her tub after each use." "I used this to help soothe my bottom after giving birth and having a major tear. Used it for soaking in the tub. Found it calming, and soothing to itchy, uncomfortable stitches. Smells great. Will order more for the next baby! I used this in combination with healing comfrey compound, squirt bottle of warm water with a few drops of witch hazel, st johns wort, and calendula (I think. It's been 13 months so I may be off on exactly what I put in there.), and soothing/healing concoction of herb soaked cotton pads. Didn't have to use spray or cream from the hospital, as I breastfeed and wanted as few drugs in/on my body as possible."   "I  used this after delivering our first. I don't know if it really helped healing or not, I was also using herbs in a peri bottle suggested by the midwives, but I healed well and it did feel better down there after each bath. The best advantage of this was that it gave me a good reason to get a 20 minute bath each day- which definitely helped emotionally and is hard to actually do with the newborn in the house."   "Good size jar arrived properly packaged. I don't know if it works yet."   "I WILL NOT birth without this on hand! This will last you about a week after birthing, and I'm telling you, you'll feel good enough to ride a horse! I have used it after three births and recommended it to a friend who had extensive tearing that wouldn't heal for almost six weeks. She noticed a significant difference within three days! After seven she was well into recovery. Don't birth without it!"   "Really and truly a lifesaver for all women that have been through a natural birth and are dealing with recovery. This is not your ordinary sitz bath, it will heal like no other sitz bath will. You'll be amazed at how completely you will recover; besides the fact that sitting in a full tub when your body is worn out just feels great. I highly recommend this!"   "I used this postpartum in my sitz bath. It has a nice lemongrass-like scent, but I didn't find it to be more helpful than just plain salts. I also recommend using it in a muslin bag-- the tiny herb bits will get everywhere."   "It was a wonderful post partum soak - I loved that it didn't need to be steeped like others, just added right to a hot bath. It relieved discomfort and helped greatly with my recovery."   "I  use this product for a sitz bath and it is wonderful. the scent is a nice combination of lavandar and herbs and the salts do the trick for sensitive skin."   "Love this works great"   "After my third child, I'm not sure if I was hoping for a miracle, or what...but this wasn't it. I used it as a sitz bath. It smells great! Very pricey, and in my opinion not quite everything it's hyped up to be. I preferred a natural witch hazel spray."   "How much do you want out of your tush bath? It's made from authentic native american recipe, so I guess you get what you pay for. It worked amazingly well. It cost a lot so I only went through one tub on my first child. But it helped the transition."   "This product felt nice in the bath and smells nice. I am not sure if it helped the healing process after having a baby. It may have helped, so I like the product, but I can't swear that it helped. I do recommend it though. For sure for new moms. It is very nice and soothing feeling."   "I really like New Mama tush and it is highly recommended by the midwives and doulas I know. I also use it for hemorrhoids and when I am having any other issue in my groin area. When I purchased it, it was for a crazy low price. I should have stocked up! I recommend for all women, not just for those postpartum."   "This is THE go-to postpartum gift I give for new mamas, in their "Help Mama Heal" basket! This sitz bath works wonders and truly does provide palpable, incredibly soothing pain relief and expedites the healing of those tender, Superhero nether regions; with tangible, immediate results and benefits. It true does speed up the healing process! Those medicine women midwives know their stuff, and their time honored wisdom and healing remedies are as relevant and modern as ever. (And for someone who wrote a misinformed review on here that women cannot take baths for 6-weeks and qualifying this as doing so--that is incorrect.) A sitz bath uses these herbs (or another similar mixture), with warm water in the tub filled only to just under the navel of the new mama, and you soak for 10-20 minutes. It is absolutely safe, and can be safely used within days of giving birth, as I did, and thousands of other mothers have, throughout time. Every time a new mama friend gives birth, I make her a basket with this in the center, surrounded by things like Motherlove Sitz Bath Spray (which you can also put in the peri-wash bottle, for rinsing), Motherlove Rhoid Balm, Nipple Balm, or Earth Mama Angel Baby's similar products; and FridaBaby's "The MomWasher" peri-bottle along with the magical, freezable Hemorrwedge Hemorrhoid Treatment Ice Pack, which can be used and re-used as soothing, cooling peripacks for Mama's Heroic Lady Parts! LOVE this stuff. Magic!" "This product worked amazing for my wife postpartum. She recommended this to her friends that were pregnant."   "Post surgical bath. I use the NEW MAMA for post surgical therapy after my hysterectomy. It was an hour drive for the hospital and a friend drew a bath and it helped clear me. NEW MAMA helped with the feeling of intrusion and relaxed me so I could sleep. My cat likes the aroma and sits on the side of the tub by me whenever I use NEW MAMA!" "Sold in half an hour!  New Mama was only on the shelf half a hour before it sold. A Sleep Rescue went a few hours later. Not bad for brand new products!" - G.B., Sun and Earth, Annapolis, MD      "Midwife recommended - My wife’s midwife told her to start using the tush bath until the baby comes. She is a big fan of the NEW MAMA product.            "Healed quicker. I healed very very quickly and I know NEW MAMA Tush Soothing Bath is why. I heal quicker didn't bleed hardly at all. My doula first gave it to me...she is a very smart lady."                                                            "Healed perfectly. After the birth the lidocaine wore off and I couldn’t take the pain so I told the Midwife to stop the sutures. She reluctantly stopped and told me that I would heal wide open and may suffer from pain for the rest of my life. She gave me the same report after 24 hours and again after 4 days. I took a bath in New Mama for a week and a half straight. At my six week checkup she was shocked to see that Id healed together perfectly. I’m not sure if it was New Mama or walking around like a stick figure for two weeks but I’m pretty sure a large part of it is due to the herb bath. Just wanted you to know how much I appreciated having it."   Great perineal spray - As a Homebirth Midwife, I found out about WIH about 5 years ago and have been recommending them ever since.  The cooling cucumber perineal spray is my personal favorite to recommend - a clean scent after you've had a baby.  At home I LOVE your amazing healing oils for everything.  I wish you were closer so I could just drop by and fill up my shopping cart! - Anon.                                 Wonderful!  Your NEW MAMA bath is wonderful during pregnancy and for postpartum relief!
