New Horizon Elm

A tough, fast-growing elm with a refined vase shape and dependable disease resistance, perfect for modern landscapes FEATURES:  Upright vase-shaped form reminiscent of the American Elm Dark green foliage turns golden yellow in autumn Exceptionally resistant to Dutch elm disease and elm leaf beetle Strong branching structure for dependable shade and street planting Tolerant of urban soils, salt, heat, and drought A reliable, fast-growing replacement for lost native elms Ships on our trucks because of the size of the tree – does not fit in a box Bower & Brach Landscape Design Tip Use New Horizon Elm to frame outdoor spaces such as patios, lawns, or entryways. Its upright form creates natural “arches” that can visually guide movement through the landscape. Pair it with understory flowering trees like crabapples or serviceberries for layered seasonal interest, and with perennials at its base to soften its strong trunk line.
