D E T A I L S • 1930s dress • hourglass / sheath shape • black silk faille • criss-cross v-neckline • curved piping seamwork just above bust with buttoned tap at right shoulder • three quarter sleeves with elbow darts • fitted waist + attached self belt with hook/eye closures • pencil wrap-look skirt, lightly pleated with buttoned tab detail at left hip • kick pleat • metal snap side closures • unlined • label: no tag present on dress; came with one shoulder pad (included with dress but not attached) that as a tag from The Emporium, so unsure if that is the label for the dress or just the shoulder pad (calculating for inflation, the price of $1.79 is around $40 today, so it is likely that the label on the shoulder pad is also the label for the dress) M E A S U R E M E N T S fits like a: petite medium | petite large shoulders: 16.5" bust: 42" (fits up to 38/39" MAX since that's as wide as the waist allows to pull down over bust) waist: 32" hips: 42/43" length: 42" bodice length: 14.5" sleeve length: 19" C O N D I T I O N Very good vintage condition.
