Neuroscience 101, Parts 1 and 2 w Handouts w Lila Devaci

Lila Devaci, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Psychology Cognition & Perception, Center for Neural Science & Center for Brain Imaging at New York University. The Devaci laboratory complements cognitive behavioral approaches with a pursuit of knowledge of how the brain carries out mnemonic functions (using fMRI) with the belief that this approach will lead to a unified study of memory in which structure (i.e. the brain) and function (i.e. behavior) will finally be linked.   The 2008 North American Summit of the NeuroLeadership Institute was held from October 28-30 in New York City, USA.  This Summit brought 150 change agents from 20 countries around the globe, together with the world's leading neuroscientists, to talk about the biology of decision making, managing emotions, collaborating with others and facilitating change.  A tremendous number of new connections were made, between people, ideas and research, and new insights for developing leaders. *This audio presentation is dependent on the slides, which are included in pdf format.
