Network Acoustics Tempus Ethernet Switch

Network Acoustics flagship Ethernet Switch tempus is designed to deliver a clean signal to your music and video streamers, NAS, Media Servers and Smart TV, simultaneously optimising the performance of each device. tempus features a host of proprietary innovations including multi-stage power filtering, huge, but low stressed switching and data-processing capacity, precision clocking and a specifically designed hybrid dynamic power supply. tempus is available in Black or Silver finishes, and is supplied with Network Acoustics’ new Hybrid Power Supply, and a 1.0 m reference DC Cable. tempus, Network Acoustics’ flagship Ethernet Switch has been developed as a system, with equal attention paid to both the design of the switch and its power supply. Separating the power supply from the signal clocking and output processes is critical when designing an Ethernet Switch for high-end music and video streaming. Network Acoustics achieved this goal by designing a Switch with huge, but low-stressed processing/switching capacity, precision clocking and integrated power filtering. The tempus Switch is perfectly matched with its hybrid power supply, which is designed to provide the clean and dynamic power that is required. The result is an Ethernet Switch unequalled in its ability to simultaneously deliver perfectly timed and clean signal to all of the networked devices in your home entertainment system. Bringing realism, timing and extraordinary clarity to streamed music, while at the same time adding depth, contrast, pin-sharp detail, and a natural fluidity of motion to video playback, making tempus the beating heart and essential foundation of any serious networked home entertainment system. tempus is engineered and hand built in the UK, sold with free express world-wide shipping, 2-year manufacturers warranty and Network Acoustics’ 60-day money back guarantee. Ethernet Switch Features 12 ultra low noise outputs: 6 x universal Gigabit, 2 x 100 Mb/s RJ45 ports and 4 x SFP 1Gb/s. Multi-stage noise rejecting power filtering. Precision clocking. Huge switching/processing capacity designed to run under low-stress for noise free and accurate data flow, even in bandwidth intensive scenarios. Flexibility – designed to connect your music and video streamer, server, NAS, Smart TV and home cinema without compromising performance. Shielded enclosure engineered from a single billet of aluminium. Supplied with the tempus ultra low noise hybrid power supply (more details below) and Network Acoustics’ reference DC Cable (1.0 m). Engineered and hand built in the UK. tempus – Hybrid Power Supply Having spent months testing the ‘best’ available battery, linear and switched-mode technology, Network Acoustics concluded that the only way to realise the performance they wanted for tempus, was to create something new, a power supply designed specifically for the purpose. The tempus Hybrid Power Supply is a ground-breaking design in its own right. Featuring multi-stage noise filtering, a unique output stage design, combined with switched-mode technology, and its own high-performance DC cable . This unique hybrid design delivers ultra clean power normally only associated with the best Linear supplies combined with the essential dynamics only a switched-mode can provide. Power Supply Features Ultra low noise/mutli-stage filtered hybrid power supply. Output stage using Mundorf Supreme Gold/Silver Capacitors. Non-resonant acrylic seamless enclosure. Supplied with Network Acoustics’ reference DC power cable (0.75 m). Finish: soft touch black. Engineered and hand built in the UK.
