Netta

Netta Donna Isham (United States) Oil on stretched canvas Size: 65"W x 35"H Framing available upon request Netta is a luminous figurative painting by Donna Isham, centered on a reclining figure rendered in vibrant washes of pink, blue, yellow, violet, and warm white. Created following a residency at Chateau d'Orquevaux in France, Netta began as a live figure study before evolving into a vibrant exploration of color, character, and presence. The work celebrates both individuality and transformation.  Set within a softly painted interior, the figure appears relaxed yet emotionally present, bathed in color that suggests warmth, tenderness, and quiet sensuality. Isham’s loose brushwork gives the body a sense of movement and vitality, while the surrounding space adds atmosphere and depth. Elegant and inviting, Netta is an original artwork for collectors drawn to contemporary figurative painting, expressive color, and modern interpretations of the human form.
