Winemakers Notes This blend of famed Rhone varietal grapes, Syrah and Mourvedre, is grown in Netofa's vineyards in the lower Galilee, near the famous Kerem ben Zimra. This area is well known for having one of the best climates in israel for grape growing. While many wines from Israel are big and bold, Domaine Netofa wines are refined and elegant, after the the Rhone valley style of winemaking. This wine was vinified and aged in French oak barrels and the result is a wine with fruity taste, medium body and well defined tannins. A perfect accompaniment to roasted or grilled meat or hearty stews.
