Front and side inset handles make repositioning simple, while the nestable design allows multiple units to store compactly when not in use. This is especially helpful in facilities that need several step stools throughout a shift but want to keep walkways and work zones clear when they’re done. Rubber feet help grip the floor surface for added stability during use. These steps have 8 rubber feet on them to resist against slipping or sliding on smooth floors, providing added confidence when stepping up or down. Anti-slip tape on the step surfaces helps provide secure footing when climbing up or down. For workplaces that need additional support, models are available with bolt-on handrails, back rails, and portable caster configurations, giving users options for added support and easier movement between work areas. Handrail designs also allow the unit to be pushed or pulled with less bending and twisting. This family includes one-step, two-step, and three-step configurations with a 500 lb. uniform capacity. Safety yellow coloring improves visibility in busy work areas, while retrofit kits are available for handrails, back rails, casters, and all-option upgrades. With a 90-day limited warranty included on all models, these step stools are a dependable addition to any facility’s safety equipment lineup. Applications Nestable step stools are used across a wide range of industries and work settings. Their portable, space-saving design makes them a smart choice anywhere workers need safe, quick access to elevated areas. Common uses include: Warehouse and distribution center picking operations Stockroom shelf access in retail backrooms Maintenance and equipment servicing in production facilities Inventory management in commercial workspaces Assembly line tasks that require elevated reach Healthcare and laboratory supply access Food manufacturing and commercial kitchen areas Office and institutional storage areas Because each nestable step stool can stack on top of another with minimal added height, facilities can purchase multiple units without worrying about where to store them. The height of the unit by itself is 20-1/2″, and each additional unit nested on top would add approximately 4″ of height. This compact storage ability sets them apart from traditional step ladders, which can be bulky and hard to store in tight spaces. Whether placed at a permanent workstation or moved throughout a shift, these step stools keep workers safe and productive. Selection Assistance Barron Equipment and Overhead Door offers expert guidance to help customers choose the right nestable step stool for their application. Deciding between a one-step, two-step, or three-step model depends on how high workers need to reach and how often the stool will be used. Customers who need extra stability may want to consider models with handrails or back rails, while facilities where the stool moves between locations regularly may benefit from caster-equipped options. Retrofit kits are also available for customers who want to add handrails, back rails, or casters to a base model at a later time.
