Nepenthes spathulata x spectabilis "Giant"

Nepenthes spathulata x spectabilis "Giant" combines 2 absolutely massive parents. N. spathulata produces enormous green pitchers with burgundy peristomes, while N. spectabilis "Giant" makes spectacular black and white mottled pitchers with distinctively striped peristomes. Together, these giant pitcher plants have made quite impressive offspring. These N. spathulata x spectabilis "Giant" are seed grown, so each one has a unique combination of its parent's features! Representative specimens of both parents are shown in the alternate photographs. This giant pitcher plant will be shipped bare-root with a 3" plastic pot and enough top-quality New Zealand long-fiber sphagnum moss to fill it. Planting and growing instructions for this giant pitcher plant will also be included.
