Neon Pothos (Epipremnum aureum ‘Neon’)

Neon Pothos plants boast fluorescent yellow leaves that draw attention like no other. With heart-shaped leaves that cascade down walls and surfaces and a vigorous growth pattern, this trailing plant is bound to grab your attention. The plant's fast-growing foliage makes it a great hanging plant, for Neon Pothos can grow vines can trail for as long as ten feet! The Neon Pothos is extremely similar to Marble Queen and Golden Pothos, just with an added highlighter-toned flare. The ideal care regimen for this low-maintenance indoor plant includes bright indirect light and a well-draining soil blend. However, like most all plants in the Pothos family, the Neon is extremely tolerant to a variety of light conditions and watering patterns. A common nickname for Pothos is "Devil's Ivy" because it is so difficult to kill. This hardiness and resilience is what makes the Pothos a great houseplant for beginners. In addition to its hardy nature, another reason to love this plant is its ability to be easily propagated and multiplied. By pruning your Pothos plant and placing the clippings into a clear vase of water, you can learn to easily root your plant and make more. Neon Pothos is known to remove toxins, specifically formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene from the air indoors. As a member of NASA's Clean Air List, the Pothos works to remove formaldehyde, xylene, and benzene from the air.
