Material: Sterling Silver Measurements: - Pendant Size: L: 1.25" x W: .75" - Chain Length: 18.5" For millennia, Turquoise has been the chosen stone of shamans and seekers, a legendary "fallen sky stone" that serves as a protective bridge between the spirit and the earth.  A luminous treasure born from the depths of the river, the Freshwater Pearl is the bohemian’s moon-shard, a talisman of the "hidden self" that nurtures the soul’s purity and mirrors the ever-flowing tides of emotion. The 1995 Vintage Turquoise Archive Collection  This era represents a pinnacle in Arizona turquoise history, predating the current modern era of "stabilized" or chemically treated stones. These unique and bespoke gems are natural, hard, and possess the deep, soulful blues and intricate matrixes that defined the golden age of American Turquoise mining. The Legacy of the Stone: The Larry Cooley Archive, The Pedigree of Rarity Larry Cooley was not just a miner; he was a legendary "stone seeker" and the premier supplier to the most prestigious Native American and Southwestern jewelry houses of the 20th century. Known for his uncompromising eye, Cooley’s private archive consisted of the finest, high-grade, untreated Arizona turquoise—stones that were often mined decades ago and are virtually impossible to find in today’s market. A Collaborative Artistry Sage Machado was granted exclusive access to these 1995 Arizona Turquoise cabochons, treating each stone as a singular masterpiece. By pairing Cooley’s historic stones with her own bespoke Sterling Silver and rare gemstone designs, Sage bridges the gap between vintage Western heritage and modern Bohemian luxury. To own a piece from this collection is to hold a fragment of Arizona’s geological history, reimagined for the contemporary collector.
