Nebula

Jazz Ensemble | Medium-Advanced | Item BB4014 Description "Nebula" is an uncommonly dark and brooding work for jazz ensemble that will complement just about anything else on your program. Listen for mallets on the drums, unusual harmonies and gestures in the brass, and a strange groove in the bass instruments. Like some music from Stan Kenton's library, "Nebula" has an orchestral vibe with fairly conventional big band scoring. You'll find ad-lib space for your trumpet and trombone soloists.  The recording below is a concert bootleg of the Penn State University Jazz Band II. 4 mins View Score Additional Info Composed by: Rick Hirsch Arranged by: Rick Hirsch Ensemble: Jazz Ensemble Format: Conductor Score & Parts Parts included:  Alto Saxes 1 & 2 Tenor Saxes 3 & 4 Baritone Sax (opt.
