Natural Ruby Spinel Gemstone Crystals Pendant

I used a silver plated bezel setting and filled it with natural assorted color spinel crystals. This comes with a 24 inch 925 silver filled chain. I have stabilized the crystals inside the setting with resin. These spinels are from Luc Yen, Vietnam. They are in shades of pink, red and purple. Spinels naturally occur in octahedral crystals. Spinels occur in a variety of colors including pink, red, orange, blue and purple. They are very similar to rubies and sapphires and are often confused with them. Spinels are more rare than rubies or sapphires, and so are not often used in gemstone jewelry. Though often mistaken for other stones, spinels have their own set of metaphysical properties. They are a healing stone and are known for their vibrant energies. They can help with spiritual journeys and bring clarity and stability to many situations. Spinels are also used to attract wealth and prosperity. Stones listed as natural, raw, or rough may have some imperfections and inclusions. Be sure to check all photos, including the zoom feature, for details about a particular stone. Please see photo with ruler for size. Colors may vary with individual monitors. Many stones are susceptible to fading, and they should be kept out of direct sunlight. Do not use hot water or salt water to clean them. Stone properties and descriptions are for informational purposes only and do not offer any guaranteed outcomes. Also, they are not intended as a substitute for medical care.
