Native Philippine Nativity

These exquisite wooden nativity scenes are hand carved by Arman Cagayat in the Philippines. The young boy is with a carabao, or water buffalo, and the wise men are bearing gifts of mango, rice, and bananas. The figures are all in native Filipino dress, and the palm tree (with removable leaves for storage) adds a beautiful touch to the scene. Joseph is holding a straw hat, and Mary is holding the baby Jesus. All pieces are made from local wood, and the hut is approximately nine inches high. This nativity is a real treasure that can be cherished and passed down for generations! For those seeking an expanded scene, our deluxe set includes all elements of the premium version, plus nine additional figures, creating an impressive 18-piece set. Each additional piece is handcrafted with the same meticulous detail, bringing even more beauty to this cherished tradition.
