Naladi

We had spent weeks wandering the Kalahari Desert, searching for my Tree of Life. Finally, I found her on an island in The Makgadikgadi Pan, the world's largest salt flat.  The Baobab tree stands solitary in the Botswana night, a living testament to time. Her expansive canopy, flush with summer leaves, is bathed in a gentle glow of light, casting a life-affirming shade of green amidst the golden hues of the savannah grass.  The sky above, a tapestry of moonlit clouds, stretches into infinity, with stars tracing their silent arcs. This ancient sentinel, rooted in the earth, reaches skyward, connecting the land to the beyond, a natural monument to life in the vast wilds of Botswana.
