Naked Tree

This award-winning photograph was taken by Lou DeSerio in the mid 1970’s, in the formative years of his stellar career. Captured near Gardnerville, Nevada, with an approaching storm, the sun broke through and highlighted this Cottonwood tree. Using a deep orange filter the contrasts increased to provide this dramatic scene.
