Hand-poured in their Southern California studio. Roen candles are vegan, cruelty-free, and free of phthalates, parabens, and carcinogens, and are packaged in fully recyclable materials. Inspired by the enchanting Nakameguro neighborhood in Tokyo, where cherry blossoms drift along the Meguro River and the streets pulse with a cool, creative energy. By night, lanterns glow, trees illuminate, and the riverfront transforms into a pathway of ethereal beauty. Known for a playful aesthetic that blends traditional Japanese influences with a modern, whimsical sensibility, his artwork captures the spirit and charm of some of Japan’s most beloved details. These beautiful hand-painted ceramics are designed to be re-loved and reused.
