Najah, Diyah, (Chainbreaker-Lightseeker)

"Chainbreaker-Lightseeker" by Diyah Najah 12 x 20 inch, hand painted linocut on paper, limited edition of 11 --unframed The work of artist Diyah Najah art gives voice to the power of emotional vulnerability, the exploration of individual and communal relationships with self-identity, cultural identity, and the impacts of socialization and false narratives. Diyah Najah’s work also illustrates the healing power of nature and nature-based spiritual practices, in contrast to a fast-paced, capitalistic, predominantly neurotypical-centered, modern society. Whether directly addressed or implied, the foundation of all of Diyah Najah’s work engages in the dialogue of her desire to share her world of neurodiverse expression and functioning and the desire to live and thrive unmasked.
