Amplifier technology has moved on considerably however, and while the NAIT 5si occupies the same position in the Naim range as the original NAIT, its performance might be from a different world.  The NAIT 5si provides four analogue inputs and a 60 Watt per channel power amplifier. It features a new headphone amplifier and borrows numerous technologies from across the spectrum of Naim products; all dedicated towards maximising its ability to communicate the fundamentals of music. And communicate it does. The NAIT 5si brings clarity, engaging dynamics and, most of all, infectious enthusiasm to every music source and genre.  SPECIFICATIONS: 60W (into 8ohms) 90W (into 4 ohms)  4 analogue inputs: 2 x DIN, 2 x RCA  1/4 inch (6.35mm) front panel headphone output on front panel  Custom-designed toroidal transformer with two separate windings  Black power coated alluminium case and fascia  British build and design  AUDIO INPUTS  Input Level Suitable for 2V sources (0.5 to 5.0V)  Input Sensitivity 170mV  Analogue Inputs 2 x DIN/RCA pair, 2 x RCA pair  USER CONTROL INTERFACE  Front Panel Volume control and front panel buttons  AUDIO OUTPUTS  Line Outputs Fixed (level) HDD (RCA pair) 170mV, 470 Ω  Headphone outputs ¼ inch (6.35mm) TRS Socket  SPEAKER OUTPUTS  Power Output 60W per channel into 8ohms, 90W per channel into 4ohms  CONNECTIVITY  Remote Control Infra-Red (RC5)  POWER  Mains Supply 100V, 115V, 230V; 50 or 60Hz  Power Consumption (quiescent) 19VA  Power Consumption (maximum) 300VA  PHYSICAL  Dimensions 70 x 432 x 314 (H x W x D)  Weight 6.4kg  Supplied With NARCOM-4 remote control  OTHER  Suggested System CD5si  FINISH  Front Black powder coated aluminium  Case Black powder coated aluminium
