Nablus' Olives Tee

Nablus’s olives became one of Palestine’s most enduring symbols, rooted in the terraced hills surrounding the historic city of Nablus in the central West Bank. For centuries, Palestinian farmers have cultivated olive groves in the region’s rocky soil and Mediterranean climate, producing olives known for their rich flavor and high-quality oil. By the 1700's, Nablus had grown into a major center of olive oil production, with its oil used for food, trade, and the famous Nabulsi olive-oil soap exported across the region, making the olive tree a lasting symbol of Palestinian heritage and connection to the land.
