A thousand-year-old tradition, soap made in Nablus, Palestine, is beloved for its simplicity. Cleansing, moisturizing, and healing, Nablus olive oil soap is rich in nutrients and ideal for dry and sensitive skin, as well as the face and hair. I'm proud to live close to the Palestinian Soap Cooperative, which has its US headquarters in Berkeley, California. They work with the remaining eight soap makers in Nablus, supporting the local communities and preserving a century-old tradition. All profits from this product will be donated to The Sameer Project. Situated in the heart of Nablus, central to the Qaryoun historic quarter, the Tuqan Soap Factory has persisted through significant changes in the city over the past century. The factory is owned by the Tuqan family, who were prominent figures and local rulers of Nablus in the 18th and 19th centuries. Their factory remains dedicated to producing traditional Nabulsi soap, standing as a testament to the city's rich economic and cultural heritage despite years of oppression.
