MYKITA RAIDER Optical

The MYKITA Raider is an optical frame, handmade in Berlin. MYKITA was founded in Berlin in 2003 by Moritz Krüger, Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans and Philipp Haffmans, and still designs and builds every frame at the MYKITA HAUS, its modern manufactory in a landmarked red-brick building on Köpenicker Straße by the Spree. MYKITA MYLON is 3D printed at the Berlin manufactory using selective laser sintering, which fuses fine polyamide powder layer by layer. MYKITA calls MYLON an exceptionally light and durable high-tech material. MYKITA calls it a patented screwless hinge system, so there is nothing to loosen and nothing for an optician to tighten. The frame is built from MYLON. Lens width 57mm, bridge 14mm, temple length 138mm. Sintered polyamide flexes and returns to shape rather than holding a bend.
