MycoSpectrum™ Organic Mushroom Tea with Cacao

Flower of Life Tea™ MycoSpectrum™ with Cacao   Subscribe and Save 15%!    Flower of Life Tea™ MycoSpectrum™ supports optimal health and wellness.  Want a healthy boost to your MycoSpectrum™? Try our MycoSpectrum ™ with added fair trade, organic certified, raw, cacao powder! Our cacao compliments MycoSpectrum™ fungi, as our mushroom powder tastes a lot like thin hot chocolate when water is added. Cacao will add a slightly bitter element and will enhance the already present unsweetened chocolate notes. Fermented cacao powder is cold-pressed, removing all of the cocoa butter and boosting the antioxidant power of the cocoa bean with natural nutritional constituents like acetic acid that helps reduce fat storage, improve blood sugar and insulin response, and reduce appetite. Maintaining the protein and fiber content, the resulting product is then cold-ground and fine-milled into a powder. Our raw cacao powder boasts an ORAC value of 1086 μmol TE/g. Cocoa polyphenols have strong antioxidant properties. The antioxidant capacity of cocoa beans per serving is higher than that of blueberries, red wine, black, and green tea.* Our cacao is sourced from several varieties from Ecuador and Dominican Republic, and has been grown on the same land for generations.  For those concerned about the naturally occurring caffeine found in raw cacao, per 1 tsp serving, there are only 4 mg of caffeine. To compare, an 8 oz cup of black tea contains an average of 46 mg, green tea ranges from an average of 30 to 50 mg, and coffee contains an average of 80 to 100 mg of caffeine.  1 teaspoon of cacao will add about 6 calories, 1/2 gram of saturated fat, and  slightly more than 1/2 gram fiber, and trace amounts of potassium, calcium, and magnesium.  Try our non-dairy, vegan creamer made with organic MCT Oil Powder, organic Coconut Milk Powder, and 100% organic fine Maple Syrup Sugar (Only 3 g of sugar/serving). Raw cacao and MCT oil boast significant health benefits and act synergistically to create a cascade effect of illuminating wellness.  MycoSpectrum™ is made with more than a dozen highly bioactive adaptogenic mushrooms and fungi that are high in 1,3 and 1,6 beta-glucans, arabinoxylans, glycoproteins, triterpenes and antioxidants. Not only do we believe in the science (see below for useful research links), we have seen a real-life improvement in our own health, from helping reduce LDL ("bad") cholesterol, to regulation of energy, to improving mood, and cognition (memory, focus, creativity). All mushrooms are grown in the United States and are USDA certified organic. Each batch is third-party tested for purity prior to its arrival, and all mushrooms are steam processed to ensure complete digestibility and maximum bioavailability.  Mycelium–the neural network, where all magic happens: Mycelia activate our immune systems to help ward off infection and disease. Mycelia have adapted intelligently over more than a billion years and make up the largest known living organism on the planet that act as the brain, respiratory, and reproductive center of fungi, and provide nutrients to other plant life, not only as they break down decaying matter, but also in their exhalation of carbon dioxide. Mycelial networks can sometimes span thousands of acres. Through their evolution and need to protect themselves against harmful bacteria and viruses, mycelium recruits beneficial bacteria to aid against disease (the same way people have found necessary for our own survival), they are now the greatest source of antibiotics on the planet. Other products on the market may tell you that mushroom products should only contain 100% fruiting bodies (there is a whole marketing design centered on rejecting mycelium); however, a mushroom's antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, and anti-parasitic properties come from the mycelium. In fact, it's only under specific conditions that mushrooms will actually produce a fruiting body. The rest of the time, the primary living organism is found underground, in a vast and expansive web that feeds itself and the natural world above.  Our mycelia are grown in an organic brown rice substrate. The mycelia use the rice, that goes through a useful fermentation process, as its primary source of nutrition, consuming all of the rice by use of their digestive enzymes, so no starches or fillers are present in our product. According to world renown mycology expert, Paul Stamets, “In my scientific opinion, mushroom products not incorporating mycelium are at a decided disadvantage. Through much trial, we decided to incorporate two super fruits into our blend, both of which are very low on the glycemic scale and are suitable for diabetics: Organic Super ORAC Mangosteen and Organic Lucuma. A super fruit is a fruit that combines exceptional nutrient richness with high antioxidant quality, and Mangosteen certainly fits the bill by delivering an incredible range of antioxidant xanthones, greater than any known food source, most of which are concentrated in the pericarp. Each of these chemically beneficial molecules have their own specific qualities, and no other known plant offers the same quantity and variety of xanthones as Mangosteen. Xanthones help to eliminate the cascading damage that free radicals do to our bodies that contribute to the aging and death of cells and lead to inflammation and diseases like heart disease and certain types of cancer like melanoma. Our SUPER ORAC Mangosteen, organically grown in Thailand, delivers a significant advantage over other Mangosteen products due to its unmatched ORAC content of 1500-1800 umole TE/g. ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. It's a lab test that attempts to quantify the "total antioxidant capacity" (TAC) of a food. It differs from standard nutritional testing because it measures the antioxidant activity of food. From resisting the effects of aging to promoting healthy cholesterol levels, Mangosteen has been used to maintain health for hundreds of years. It helps stimulate a healthy immune system. Lucuma Fruit, organically grown in Peru, is regarded as a symbol of fertility and creation by ancient civilizations of South America. Referred to as "Gold of the Incas", it was used extensively in the Incan Empire. In traditional South American medicine, Lucuma was recognized for its antibiotic and anti-fungal properties. Resembling an avocado in shape and color of its outer covering, Lucuma has a golden yellow pulp with a distinct taste described as a subtle combination of maple syrup, caramel and sweet potato. Recent research reveals that in addition to the fruit's unique flavor, it also boasts many health-promoting benefits. Lucuma contains good amounts of beta carotene, iron, zinc, calcium, niacin, fiber and protein, as well as citric and succinic acid. All 14 essential trace elements are present, including potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. It may help promote healthy digestion, cardiovascular health, wound healing and overall skin health. Our Lucuma Fruit is hot air-dried. It is certified Organic, Kosher and Food Grade, and is produced in a BRC certified facility.  Let Us Ship to You Monthly and Save 15% off with Free Shipping!!
