More Info. The skin, the largest organ in the body, is often overlooked. It serves to protect the body and is a primary organ of elimination. It is also host to a diverse microbiome. To provide vital moisture to dry, irritated skin, MycoDerm is formulated with a base of olive oil and sweet almond oil coupled with beeswax. Used internally to support a variety of normal processes in the body, externally the six herbs in this blend work together to enhance the look and feel of the skin. Propolis is another key component in the formula. Propolis is an amazing substance produced by bees from tree resin. The tree resin, which is part of the tree’s bio protection, is collected by the bees, incorporated into propolis and ultimately serves as a distinct part of the hive’s protective mechanism. In the MycoDerm blend, the propolis provides a visible difference to the skin, the body’s first layer of defense. Whether it is used to soothe irritated dry skin or to improve its appearance, MycoDerm is a practitioner favorite.
