My Three Lives (Apple/Android)

If your desire is to stay faithful till the end then make it your goal to never stop growing in Christ. "For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure...you will never fall" (2 Peter 1:8-10). So what does it take for a Christian to continually grow in his or her walk with Christ? Well, Bryan's passion and gift is to take complicated ideas and simplify them in a way that is easy for us to both remember and apply. First, he takes the central convictions and spiritual disciplines that every Christian needs to grow, and he puts them into two acronyms that are easy to remember (V.A.L.U.E.S. & H.A.B.I.T.S.). The two acronyms represent, 1) The things we need to DO to grow (habits), and 2) The heart and reason WHY we do them (values). For example, many Christians break the habit of "A-ttending regular church meetings"because they lose the value that they "A-lways need encouragement to endure." Second, it takes about 30 days to form a new habit; therefore Bryan created a yearlong quiet time series so that we can slowly develop these 6 values and 6 habits in a way that will last. Each week there is one big idea, one verse to memorize, great insights to consider and several helpful ideas for how to apply them. Finally, the author has also created a weekly "Discipleship Guide"so that you can partner with a more mature disciple who can help us along our journey. It's full of discussion questions that are designed to help us review, digest and apply what we've learned each week. Altogether this Book is perfect for new Christians or anyone else who simply wants to strengthen their foundation in Christ.
