My Servants Would Be Fighting: A Meditation on the Gospel and the Kingdoms of the World

The way the servants of Jesus fight is evidence for the kind of kingdom we profess to serve. How should Jesus' servants, his church, be fighting in the political realm? How can the people of God, being in the world but not of the world, relate faithfully to the nations where they live? How do we, as individuals, portray the gospel with power and accuracy to a lost world? In My Servants Would Be Fighting, Storm Bailey takes us through a deep, rich meditation on the church, the world of politics, and the kingdom of God. Taking no sides, neither the right nor left, nor even the pragmatic middle, searching instead for a biblical answer on how Christians should engage in politics-an answer which transcends these categories in today's modern political fight. Filled with thought-provoking guidance, the author challenges believers on all sides of the political spectrum so that we, the church, can get politics in perspective and engage effectively for God's kingdom.
