My Dad... the best dad ever!

While dad works long hours, can't keep up with new math on the computer, sweats profusely trying to stay in shape, and gets lost because of his refusal to ask for directions, his kids see him as an absolute secret superhero that is out there saving the world!! A fun story children can relate to, text that contradicts the exaggerated comedic visuals, and humor the whole family will enjoy, My Dad is sure to crack kids up and make caretakers feel all the feels! Where reality meets comedy, an illustrated picture book based on the oh-so-relatable life of a busy dad to 2 adorable and spunky children who see him as amazing in every way, especially when he teaches them to ride their bikes, proudly displays their work on the fridge, and has late night pillow fights instead of tucking them in while mom watches lovingly from the sidelines!   Lauren Vena is a renowned makeup artist, who has worked with brands including Mac, Chanel, Dior, Nars, and Clarins to name a few. She has done makeup on everyone from celebrities to brides to everyday women! She has traveled the country as an artist and educator, and is best known for doing makeup for media, editorial, weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and photoshoots of all kinds. But she is proudest to say she is a wife and mother. Her debut children's book, My Mom...the best mom ever! was written through the eyes of her children, and as a reminder to moms and kids that there is nothing better, stronger, or more special than unconditional love.
