MVP P72 Baseball Bat

The MVP P72 is one of the most if not the most popular wood turn styles for the past 50+ years.  This versatile bat is popular with players from youth the big leagues. Featuring a thin handle at 0.9" which transitions to a small barrel of 2.48", this bat is extremely well balanced and built for the high-average hitter. The 72 turn model was famous by hiters such as Derek Jeter. The MVP P72 Model is made with professional grade compressed birch and comes with an ink dot certification to certify the bat holds up to the MLB tangential Slop of grain requirements. Why Birch?  The difference between a maple and a birch bat is the flex.  Birch does have more flexibility which can create more bat speed and still retain the strength and power of a maple bat. Even though Birch is more flexible than maple, all MVP Bats are compressed during the manufacturing process which hardens the grains of the bat making it just as hard as maple in the contact zone.
