Must Have Starters

Bring the spirit of Hawaiʻi straight to your kitchen with the Kailua Seasoning Company Starter Bundle—the perfect introduction to our small-batch, island-inspired flavors crafted right here in Kailua, Oʻahu. This bundle includes one of each of our customer favorites! Aloha Smoke Spice, The Hapa Blend, and Ke Ahi Fish. Available in our 3/4 cup size for best value to you! This carefully curated trio is designed for your very first taste of aloha on the plate: Aloha Smoke Spice: Our signature smoky blend captures the soul of the traditional Hawaiian imu (underground oven). Infused with kiawe-smoked sea salt, red alaea salt, and a balanced mix of spices, it delivers rich, savory depth with just the right touch of smokiness. Perfect for grilling burgers, seasoning steaks, roasting chicken, glazing salmon, or even sprinkling on fresh veggies and corn for that irresistible island barbecue vibe. The Hapa Blend: A harmonious "half-and-half" fusion of bold Hawaiian influences and classic flavors—versatile, crowd-pleasing, and endlessly adaptable. Whether you're stirring it into marinades, rubbing it on meats, or elevating everyday dishes, this blend brings a taste of cultural mash-up that feels uniquely local and welcoming. Ke Ahi Fish: Turn up the heat with this fiery, medium-spice blackened rub built for fresh seafood. Smoked paprika meets cayenne, chiles, black peppercorns, garlic, onion, and a hint of celery for a bold kick that sears beautifully. Ideal for ahi tuna, mahi-mahi, snapper, shrimp, or even poultry—delivering that restaurant-quality char and flavor without overpowering the catch of the day. Handcrafted in small batches with authentic Hawaiian sea salts and premium ingredients, these seasonings are more than just spices—they're a celebration of Kailua's laid-back spirit, island traditions, and the pure joy of sharing delicious food. Why start here? Because one sprinkle will transport you to beachside grills, fresh catches, and ohana gatherings. This bundle is your gateway to effortless, flavor-packed meals that taste like Hawaiʻi—no plane ticket required.
