Musicians Serenade

A Midnight Animal Jazz Quartet in Full SwingAn alligator in a sharp suit bows a double bass while a raven blasts a trumpet, a grinning hyena pounds the drum kit, and a black cat works the piano keys. The whole stage swirls in deep violet, burnt orange, and ember red, lit by a row of glowing bulbs overhead. Smoke curls into ribbons above the band. Painted in a bold expressionist style, thick with motion, it reads like a fever dream of a smoky underground club, complete with a shadowed crowd nodding along. The piece sits comfortably in our Surrealist Art and Animals selections, with the rich painterly color earning it a place among Contemporary Art too. Animal Jazz Band, Painted in Fire and VioletAn alligator on bass. A raven on trumpet. A hyena and a cat finishing the rhythm. Swirling color and glowing light turn an ordinary stage into something wild and dreamlike, full of swing and smoke.
