Musical Shepherd tapestry – Only 1 Left!

Francois Boucher wall tapestries – Only 1 left! Musical Shepherd tapestry is from the 18th century Noble Pastorales tapestries by Francois Boucher, the Court Painter of Louis XV and director of the royal tapestry workshops at Beauvais. A shepherd is wooing a girl with his music by a rococo waterfall next to a pond. This is typical of the romantic, though unrealistic, rural idyllic scenes he depicted in this series. This, like most of our Francois Boucher wall tapestries, is now woven in Italy in 75% cotton and 25% viscose. This tapestry wall-hanging is available lined as a wall tapestry with a rod pocket for US$245. Only 1 left!
