Mushroom Hojicha

Mushroom Hojicha Toasty Roasted Green Tea with Reishi & Turkey Tail We didn’t want to reinvent tea — we just wanted to elevate your daily ritual. Elevated Spores Mushroom Hojicha is a warm, grounded fusion of first-harvest Japanese roasted tea powder and functional mushroom extracts, crafted for those who want a deeply comforting cup with real intention behind it. Every sip connects centuries of tea tradition with the grounding nature of functional mushrooms — without sacrificing the comforting, roasty flavor you crave. What Makes Our Mushroom Hojicha Different First-Harvest Shizuoka Green Tea, Kyoto-Inspired While charcoal-roasting green tea originated in Kyoto a century ago, our tea leaves are grown in the premier, sun-rich tea fields of Shizuoka, Japan. Sourced strictly from the first harvest of the season, the young leaves are carefully roasted to transform their character—stripping away sharp bitterness and reducing caffeine to a whisper. Finely Stone-Milled for Complete Dissolution Unlike standard leaf hojicha that requires steeping, our tea is stone-milled into a micro-fine powder. It fully dissolves into water or milk, creating a silky-smooth body with deep, warm notes of toasted grain, cocoa, and subtle caramel. Because the whole leaf is finely ground, it easily froths into rich iced lattes or cold foams without leaving grit behind. Functional Mushroom Extracts Each serving features concentrated Reishi and Turkey Tail extracts—mushrooms long appreciated across global herbal traditions. Reishi: Renowned in traditional wellness systems as a mushroom for balance, Reishi contains natural bitter triterpenes that complement the L-theanine in tea, offering a grounding and centering experience. Turkey Tail: Rich in naturally occurring polysaccharides and beta-glucans, Turkey Tail is traditionally used to support overall wellness and complement daily nutrition. Toasty, Comforting Flavor This is not a medicinal-tasting brew. The rich, charcoal-roasted profile of first-harvest Shizuoka tea naturally balances the subtle earthiness of the mushroom extracts, creating a comforting cup that tastes like toasted rice, warm cocoa, and gentle spice — never earthy or overpowering. Rooted in Intentional Ritual Traditionally enjoyed after dinner or in the evening to settle into rest, our Mushroom Hojicha isn’t about quick fixes. It’s a slow ritual designed to help you unwind, reset, and bring mindfulness to your day. Small-Batch Crafted with Care From sourcing to fine powder blending, every step is handled with intention. Each batch is blended and packaged by hand in Superior, WI, to ensure consistent flavor, quality, and experience in every bag. Combine & Sweeten: Pour your hojicha mixture over the cold milk and stir in a splash of pure maple syrup or honey to highlight the roasted, nutty notes.
