Multiplying and Dividing by a Hundred

Skipping Your Way Through Multiplication and Division We all know the trick of adding or removing a couple zeros when multiplying or dividing by a hundred, but skip counting reinforces the idea that multiplication is just repeated addition. This workbook makes it easy by providing guidance from a ten thousands board. The student multiplies or divides by a hundred in the Number Lake with the aid of a color-coded ten thousands board and Egyptian finger counting. This encourages the student to draw on their skill of skip counting in hundreds as a means to multiply or divide by a hundred. Media Type (PDF Download or Digital only) Available in printable or digital format. The printable format is ideal for color printers and completion by hand. The digital format allows you to copy a digital worksheet to your Google drive and assign it in Google Classroom for completion on a laptop or tablet. The digital version also includes a PowerPoint file. Coil Binding (Print only) This workbook uses coil binding and can open flat on a desk or table and offer 360 degree rotation for easy work.    Supplement For: Martian Mathematics, Level 1
