MULTIPIN CONNECTION CABLE

Jaltest JTP101 — Multipin Connection Cable The JTP101 is the Multipin Connection Cable for the Jaltest diagnostic system — the cable that physically connects a configured Jaltest multipin connector assembly to the Jaltest Link V9 interface. This is the bridge between the individual JTP pins (JTP01–JTP10) seated in their housing and the diagnostic box that runs Jaltest software. Without it, the multipin connector system can't function. The JTP101 is a key component for any shop running Jaltest on commercial vehicles, off-highway equipment, agricultural machinery, or material handling equipment that has diagnostic ports outside the standard OBD, Deutsch 6-pin, or Deutsch 9-pin configurations. When Jaltest's multipin adapter approach is the path to those ports, the JTP101 is the cable that makes it happen. What It Does The Jaltest multipin system works in two stages: Pin assembly: The technician selects the appropriate JTP pins matching the vehicle's diagnostic port geometry and seats them in the multipin housing. Cable connection: The JTP101 cable connects that assembled multipin housing to the Jaltest Link V9 via a 16-pin multipin connector, completing the signal path from vehicle ECU to diagnostic software. The manufacturer's data confirms the JTP101 is 28–30cm long with a 16-pin connector, making it a short-reach interface cable suited for the close-quarter work of connecting to vehicle diagnostic ports in the cab or engine bay. Cable Specifications Cable length: 28–30cm (approximately 11–12 inches) Connector type: 16-pin multipin connector Interface: Connects assembled JTP multipin housing to Jaltest Link V9 Compatibility: All Jaltest platforms with V9 kits (CV, OHW, AGV, MHE, Marine, Data-Link) Use case: Add-on or replacement for the multipin cable included in the standard Jaltest Multipin Kit Part of the Jaltest Multipin Kit (70002001) The JTP101 Multipin Connection Cable is included as a standard component in the Jaltest Multipin Kit (Part #70002001, MSRP $310.00), which contains JTP01–JTP10 pin pairs plus the JDC10AM2 and JDC20AM2 cables. The full Multipin Kit is also bundled with every Jaltest diagnostics kit (CV, OHW, AGV, MHE) and Marine hardware kit. Order the JTP101 individually when: Your existing multipin connection cable is damaged, cut, or has a failed connector You need a second multipin cable for a second technician bay running the same Jaltest system You're building out a backup cable kit so a damaged cable never puts a bay out of service Diagnostic Capabilities Enabled by the Multipin System Once the JTP101 connects the configured pin assembly to the Jaltest Link V9, technicians can perform the full range of Jaltest diagnostic functions on supported vehicles: Reading and clearing DTCs (fault codes) across all ECU systems Live data streaming from engine, transmission, ABS, aftertreatment, body, and hydraulic controllers Active tests and component activation DPF regenerations and resets (platform-dependent) Injector coding and calibrations (platform-dependent) Parameter settings and module programming (platform-dependent) Software updates via Jaltest Central Services (where applicable) Compatibility Jaltest CV Kit (Part #29209) — commercial vehicles, Class 3–8, medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers, buses Jaltest OHW Kit (Part #29211) — off-highway/construction equipment (CAT, John Deere, Volvo CE, Komatsu, Bobcat, and more) Jaltest AGV Kit (Part #29210) — agricultural vehicles and implements (John Deere, Case, Kubota, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, and 140+ brands) Jaltest MHE Kit (Part #70001049) — material handling equipment (Hyster, Yale, CAT, Linde, Genie, and 86+ brands) Jaltest Marine — outboard and inboard engines, jet skis, boats Jaltest Data-Link (Part #70001021) Why Buy From OEM Diagnostic Tools?
