Multi-Bus Network Gateway and Protocol Converter ~ Model DGM02-1248

Network gateway only ~ power supply and all other components are sold separately Description The DGM02-1248 from Dalcnet is a versatile quad-bus network protocol converter for building automation systems. The compact yet powerful network gateway offers a wired Ethernet network connection plus three configurable lighting bus channels for interfacing with a total of four networks. The first two bus ports can be configured as master or slave on Modbus-RTU or DMX-512 networks, and the third channel is used as a DALI network interface. In addition to multi-bus compatibility, the gateway server also has ten local command inputs. These can be used as push button inputs or 0-10V dimmer input channels for compatibility with equipment that does not offer a bus signal. Network bus options Ethernet 10/100Mbit (Telnet, Art-Net, Modbus-TCP) Modbus-RTU (master/slave) DMX-512 (master/slave) DALI (controller/config) with bus power supply Typical applications Integrating complex building automation systems Upgrading legacy lighting bus systems Interconnecting lighting control networks Add network control for industry-standard lighting bus systems Using the built-in web server interface, you can set up the network bus converter to do protocol conversion exactly to your specific requirements. The web interface also allows you to control up to 200 dimmer sliders for output on the lighting bus, and to view up to 512 channels of live data. These features make setting up and troubleshooting your lighting installation convenient and stress-free. The DIN-rail mounted form factor is designed to neatly integrate into standard building automation panels alongside your other control equipment. To make your life easier, this four-way network converter can be powered with anything from 12 to 48V DC as well as power over Ethernet (PoE), meaning that you can supply it from just about any power source in your control panel. Whenever you need to translate two or more lighting networks, the DGM02 is your go-to solution. Support for four simultaneous networks and almost any lighting protocol, coupled with a wide range DC supply input, make this bus gateway the perfect answer to your lighting bus and building automation problem.
