Mulera Blanket

The light Mulera Blanket is a luxurious, hand-woven blanket made with the finest wool. Sebastian Herkner, who visited Colombia multiple times and met the local craftsmen and craftswomen, designed the contemporary pattern that plays with the contrast of very wide and thin stripes. The blanket, which is available in four color combinations, is perfect for cuddling up on the sofa or as a plaid for the guest bed. Each blanket is woven by hand on a vertical loom in Colombian workshops where the local artisans use techniques that have been passed down over generations. They only use threads made from natural virgin wool, which has been dyed with natural pigments. Just the preparation of the wool takes four days, while the weaving takes six additional days.
