Bakcou Mule Jäger SD

MULE JÄGER SD Conquer Any Terrain With The Mule Jäger  SD The Mule Jäger SD is the evolution of our flagship workhorse, built for hunters who demand more. We kept the heart of the Mule, Bafang’s Ultra mid‑drive motor, the “diesel engine” of ebike motors and the industry‑leading rack system that accepts up to 40 Ah of battery capacity for outstanding range. But for the Jäger, we added a German‑engineered Rohloff 14‑speed internal gear hub. It delivers a massive gear range and lets you shift while standing still, so you never lose momentum on steep climbs or while towing a fully loaded trailer. This isn’t just transportation; it’s a backcountry utility vehicle purpose‑built for serious hunters and adventurers.     Mule  JÄGER SD - Specs at a Glance CATEGORY DETAILS MOTOR Bafang Ultra M620 Mid-Drive / 160 Nm torque / Torque sensor / Class 1/2/3 capable BATTERY 52V / 20Ah Lithium-Ion + 52V/4A smart charger DUAL BATTERY OPTION Add 15Ah or 20Ah extra battery with modular quick-release rack GEARING Rohloff E-14 Electronic 14-Speed Hub BRAKES Tektro HD E725 Quad Piston Hydraulic + 203mm rotors (front & rear) THROTTLE Removable left thumb throttle FRAME 6061 Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Alloy SIZE OPTIONS 24" or 26" SUSPENSION Inverted High-Performance Air Fork / 140mm travel (26") TIRES 24" = CST 24" x 4.0" / 26" = Maxxis Minion 26" x 4.0" STEERING PROMAX 760mm wide handlebars + ergonomic locking grips DISPLAY Integrated stem display TECHNOLOGY On-Demand Program (ODP) for all classification selections BAKCOU CONNECT Track bike health & location / First year free / Then $99/year WEIGHT (26") With battery: 98 lbs / Without battery: 86 lbs WEIGHT (24") With battery: 95 lbs / Without battery: 83 lbs   Everything you need to know about the Mule Jäger SD     FAQ What's the difference between the Mule Jager SD and the standard Mule Jager or Mule SD?  The Jäger SD builds on the Mule’s proven platform by replacing the external derailleur with a Rohloff 14‑speed internal gear hub. This sealed hub provides a huge gear range, allows you to shift while stationary and drastically reduces maintenance. It pairs perfectly with the Bafang Ultra motor, offering smoother, quieter and more reliable performance when towing heavy loads   How does the Rolhoff internal gear hub benefit me? ✅ Climb steep ridges quietly – Low gears for hauling gear up mountainsides ✅ Cover open ground fast – High gears for crossing fields or logging roads ✅ No snagging on brush – No derailleur hanging down to catch vines or branches ✅ Less time cleaning, more time hunting – Mud, blood, and debris won't clog your drivetrain ✅ Shift from setup to stalk instantly – Drop multiple gears in one move when you spot game ✅ Start silently from a dead stop – Shift while stopped after glassing a ridge ✅ No blown stalks from clunky shifts – Smooth, quiet gear changes every time ✅ Power through rough trail without pausing – Keep momentum when you're hauling meat or gear ✅ Trust your bike miles from the truck – Built for remote backcountry hunts   How far can I ride on a single charge?  ✅ Single battery – 40–60 miles per charge ✅ Dual battery setup – 100+ miles per charge ✅ What affects range? – Terrain, hills, rider weight, wind, temperature, assist level ✅ The hunting bottom line – Plenty of range for a full day of scouting, stalking, or hauling gear
