Mug

This black/russet/maroon glaze and combed decoration is indescribably lush and was everything and more that Mark had hoped for when he started working on new glazes last year. It's a red clay slip under a celadon glaze creating a spectacular combination of colors and a pleasantly contrasting creamy light rim. We call these barrel mugs, and they are a joy to hold and to use.  They are the most popular shape Mark makes, You need only to use one to know why! Have two minutes to spare? You can watch him throw one here. Dimensions: 5.5"H x 5.5"W Capacity: ~ 16-20 oz Firing 113
