8K SIX-A 40Gbps HDMI Signal Analyzer

Display manufacturers have become the engines propelling the resolution race upward as industry entities struggle to keep pace. Flagship, cutting-edge, wholly engaging systems are being requested in educational, medical, and Fortune 500 spaces from avant-garde commercial integrators, who frequently find their designs must incorporate a mixed technology, hybrid resolution solution to address and conquer the challenges of these varied requirements. It is now commonplace to find systems comprised of 1080p LCD Video Walls, 4K laser-based projectors and 8K OLED flat panels residing inside the walls of world commerce leaders. Luxury residential projects share similar design parameters. Indispensable, like its predecessor, the new Murideo 8K SIX-A is certain to eliminate untold frustrating labor hours by rapidly detecting and isolating audio-video issues of all scopes.  Recently upgraded to a full metal body, this SIX-A is designed to be tough and versatile. Portability made possible from a long-lasting, built-in rechargeable battery plus a bright, three-inch LCD screen, combine for easy endpoint signal validation, EDID conflict resolution, plus monitoring and reporting signal intermittency or dropout. When paired with Murideo’s 8K SIX-G to provide pattern generation, the duo work in tandem to create the most versatile, cost effective, feature-rich, point-to-point closed-loop troubleshooting system available.      Murideo 8K SIX-A Operational Uses   NextGen 40Gbps Signals The 8K SIX-A is capable of signal analysis for all HDMI versions, including 2.1a, 40Gbps (8K/60 4:2:0, 10-bit, or 8K/30 4:4:4, 10-bit). FRL-5 four-lane tracking tests NextGen-rated cables plus source devices for full bandwidth throughput.   Time-determined Signal Dropout Analysis  Intermittent and apparent routine signal interruptions can be detected using the Signal Monitor feature from the 8K SIX-A PC software. Pixel send / receive counts can be monitored for discrepancies, plus complete signal dropout.    Extended Analysis Functions HDR signal and metadata presence, InfoFrame analysis, EDID copy and emulation, Hot Plug Detect, CEC, plus 2-8 channel audio confidence confirmation are among the testing features the 8K SIX-A will read and report on (PC software use may be required for some functions). Hand-held and Battery Operable The compact form factor with battery power help when troubleshooting in tight spaces, plus lessen the chance for an accident when atop a ladder probing signal failure. Calibrator Use Calibrators get called into projects ranging from direct-connection to a single display through large-area complex installations, where video signals traffic through multiple devices such as switchers and extension kits. Often, a calibrator is on site alone and under a prescribed timeline for completion. The 8K SIX-A can isolate a failure point, provide documentable proof of signal interruption, plus eliminate time-consuming costly guesswork.   HDMI cable pass/fail testing is another valuable on-site feature for copper-based designs, while the three-inch monitor screen will confirm if an Active Optical design is passing signal.
