MTU diagnostics cable

Jaltest MTU Diagnostics Cable (JDC510A9) The JDC510A9 is the genuine Cojali Jaltest diagnostic cable for MTU engines — the A9 designation indicating V9 Link compatibility. MTU (Motoren und Turbinen-Union) is a premium German engine manufacturer, part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems, producing high-performance diesel and gas engines for marine vessels, power generation, rail, and heavy industrial applications. These are not commodity engines — MTU powers naval vessels, luxury yachts, large generator sets, and high-output industrial machinery. If your operation services MTU engines and runs Jaltest software, the JDC510A9 is the specific cable that opens ECU-level diagnostic access. Note that Jaltest also offers a separate MTU 10-pin cable (JDC537.9, $370) — confirm your connector configuration before ordering. What This Cable Does The JDC510A9 connects the Jaltest Link V9 interface to MTU engine diagnostic ports, enabling Jaltest software to communicate with MTU engine ECUs for reading fault codes, clearing codes, and viewing live data. Compatible Engines: MTU engines (see JDC537.9 for 10-pin MTU applications) Interface Compatibility: Jaltest Link V9 (A9 designation) Cable Length: Approximately 11 inches (per manufacturer description) Compatible Software: Jaltest — Link Version V9 Diagnostic Functions: Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, live data monitoring — essential for troubleshooting and maintaining MTU engines Genuine Cojali Part: OEM manufactured cable Part Number: JDC510A9 MSRP: $150.00 (2025 Cojali USA Pricelist) Related Cable: JDC537.9 — MTU 10-pin diagnostics cable ($370) for different MTU connector configurations MTU Engine Applications MTU engines serve demanding applications: marine propulsion, generator sets for data centers and critical facilities, rail traction, and heavy industrial equipment. They are found in offshore supply vessels, high-speed ferries, large luxury yachts, military vehicles, and standby power systems. The JDC510A9 provides diagnostic access to these engines through the Jaltest platform — enabling fault code analysis and live data monitoring that would otherwise require proprietary MTU ADEC (Advanced Diesel Engine Control) tooling or a factory service visit. Which MTU Cable Do You Need? Jaltest offers two MTU cables: the JDC510A9 ($150) and the JDC537.9 ($370 — a 10-pin cable). MTU uses different diagnostic connector configurations across their engine families and generations.
