MTU 10 pin, diagnostics cable

Jaltest JDC537.9 - MTU 10-Pin Diagnostics Cable The Jaltest JDC537.9 is a genuine Cojali 10-pin diagnostic cable for MTU engines. MTU (now Rolls-Royce Power Systems) is a German manufacturer of high-performance diesel and gas engines used in demanding applications — marine propulsion and auxiliary power, power generation, rail vehicles, defense equipment, and heavy industrial machinery. MTU engines are sophisticated, electronically controlled units that require specific diagnostic tooling to access their ECMs. The JDC537.9 gives Jaltest users that access through a 10-pin connection to the MTU diagnostic port. What This Cable Does The JDC537.9 connects the Jaltest Link V9 interface to the 10-pin diagnostic port on MTU engines. With the cable in place and the appropriate Jaltest license active, technicians can communicate with the MTU ADEC (Advanced Diesel Engine Controller) and other ECM generations for comprehensive electronic diagnostics. Compatible engines: MTU diesel engines (10-pin diagnostic port) Typical applications: MTU marine engines (Series 2000, 4000, and others), MTU power generation sets, MTU industrial and rail engine applications Connector type: 10-pin MTU diagnostic connector Compatible Jaltest software versions up to V9 The '.9' designation indicates Jaltest Link V9 compatibility Cable length: 11 inches Genuine Cojali product Listed in Jaltest 2025 Pricelist: Part number JDC537.9, MSRP 70.00 — the highest-priced cable in this product group Why This Cable Costs 70 MTU engines are among the most sophisticated diesel powerplants in the world. They are not common shop work — MTU powers ferries, offshore supply vessels, naval vessels, luxury yachts, prime power generator sets, and other high-value applications. The diagnostic interface for MTU is more complex than that of agricultural or general construction equipment, which drives the higher cable cost. For shops and marine service centers that do work on MTU engines, the JDC537.9 eliminates the need for manufacturer-specific diagnostic hardware that is far more expensive to acquire and maintain. Note: A separate MTU diagnostics cable (JDC510A9) is also available in the Jaltest lineup. Depending on the specific MTU engine series and connector configuration you are working with, one or the other may apply — call us before ordering if you are not certain which fits your application. Diagnostic Capabilities With the JDC537.9 connected and the appropriate Jaltest license active, technicians can access: Fault code reading and clearing on MTU engine ECMs Live parameter monitoring — injection data, temperatures, pressures, load, speed ADEC controller access for supported diagnostic and calibration functions Aftertreatment system access on emissions-equipped MTU engines Technical Details SKU / Part Number: JDC537.9 Connector type: 10-pin MTU diagnostic Cable length: 11 inches Manufacturer: Cojali (Jaltest) Compatible Software: Jaltest (active license required — contact us for the appropriate module for your MTU application) Compatible Link Version: V9 (.9 designation) Price (2025 Pricelist): 70.00 Why Buy From OEM Diagnostic Tools?
