MTM Hydro PF22.2 Foam Cannon

If you've ever watched a professional detailer blanket a car in thick, clinging foam and wondered how they do it — this is how. The MTM Hydro PF22.2 Foam Cannon is the industry benchmark for pressure washer foam cannons, producing a dense, snow-like foam that clings to paint, dwells on the surface, and lifts contamination before you ever touch the car with a mitt. It's the tool that transforms a standard wash into a professional pre-wash decontamination step. At Chicago Jax Wax, we use the MTM PF22.2 with Cannon Soap for every foam wash. The adjustable fan pattern and foam concentration dial let you dial in exactly the coverage and foam density you want — from a wide, light mist for rinsing to a narrow, thick blanket of foam for maximum dwell time on heavily soiled panels. Pair it with the Jax Wax Cannon Soap for the best foam performance. Key Features Industry-leading foam density — produces thick, snow-like foam that clings to vertical surfaces for maximum dwell time Adjustable foam concentration — dial controls the soap-to-water ratio for light or heavy foam coverage Adjustable fan pattern — wide fan for broad coverage, narrow for targeted application 1/4" quick-connect fitting — compatible with most pressure washers Large reservoir — holds enough soap for a full vehicle wash without refilling Durable construction — built for professional use and long-term reliability How to Use Fill the reservoir with water and add Cannon Soap per the recommended dilution ratio Connect to your pressure washer via the 1/4" quick-connect fitting Adjust the foam concentration dial and fan pattern to your preference Apply foam from bottom to top, allowing it to dwell on the surface for 2–5 minutes Rinse from top to bottom before the foam dries Follow with a contact wash using a microfiber mitt for a complete two-stage wash Pro tip: Use the MTM PF22.2 as a pre-wash step before your contact wash — not as a replacement for it. The foam loosens and lifts contamination so your wash mitt has less work to do, dramatically reducing the risk of introducing swirl marks during the contact wash.
