MSM (60C)

MSM supplies a supplemental source of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), an organic sulfur containing compound. Sulfur is a necessary element for the production of collagen, the primary constituent of cartilage and connective tissue. It is also important in the formation of body proteins, via the formation of disulfide bonds, which serve in holding tissues together. Furthermore, intracellular sulfhydryl groups are necessary for the catalytic function of numerous enzymes. As a source of sulfur, MSM plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism and in the maintenance of healthy hair, skin and nails. It has also been shown to have antioxidant properties. Since dietary consumption of sulfur-containing compounds, such as methionine and cysteine is typically inadequate, MSM may serve as an excellent supplemental source of sulfur. MSM is available in capsule.  Each capsule of supplies 830mg of MSM.  Product Label
