MS3Pro EVO+ ECU

The MS3Pro EVO+ by AMP|EFI represents the latest in next-generation engine management, delivering a powerful suite of tuning and control features for high-performance applications. Built on the proven MS3Pro platform, the EVO+ is equipped with three AMPSEAL automotive connectors, totaling 92 Pins (31 Inputs and 33 Outputs), an onboard 4-bar MAP Sensor, barometric pressure sensor, and 5 diagnostic LEDs for enhanced monitoring. Engineered for tuners seeking flexibility, precision, and high-speed data logging, the EVO+ offers a robust upgrade path, making it ideal for projects that demand comprehensive control over fuel injection, ignition, and auxiliary systems. Whether fine-tuning a racing engine or configuring a custom build, the MS3Pro EVO+ combines intuitive TunerStudio Software, self-learning fuel tables, and user-configurable controls to provide a streamlined yet powerful tuning experience. This ECU is designed to grow with your project, delivering professional-grade capabilities and compatibility with an extensive array of engines. Logic-Level Spark Outputs: The EVO+ model is optimized for use with external ignition modules or “smart coils” equipped with built-in igniters, such as our IGN1A Smart Coils. It provides a logic-level 0-5V signal, offering precise control without generating high heat. This setup is ideal for applications where the coils or ignition components include an integrated ignition driver, such as GM LS, Toyota 1ZZ, VAG COP, etc. It ensures efficient operation without requiring additional heat management. For those seeking an ECU with built-in ignition drivers, the EVO+ HC model is the perfect choice. This version is designed to deliver high current directly to “dumb” coils, providing powerful spark energy. Ideal for applications where ignition modules lack internal drivers, the EVO+ HC Model ensures maximum spark output for performance and reliability. Key Features of MS3Pro EVO+: Engine Support: Manages up to 12-cylinder engines with sequential fuel injection or 4-rotor Wankel with individual ignition outputs Broad Ignition Compatibility: Supports over 50 ignition modes, including popular GM LS, Ford Coyote, Chrysler Hemi, and Bosch Motronic systems VVT Control: Manages up to 4 camshafts with both open-loop and closed-loop VVT strategies Enhanced Tuning Options: Supports VE-based, Speed Density, Alpha-N, MAF, and ITB tuning modes for precise control Self-Learning Fuel Strategy: Real-time adaptive fuel tuning for ease of use Onboard Data Logging: Logs up to 64 channels at 330Hz, removing the need for additional data logging equipment Inputs and Outputs (I/O) Configuration: Injector & Spark Outputs Up to 12 Sequential High-Impedance Injector Outputs Up to 10 Logic-Level Spark Outputs Outputs 7 Digital Outputs 8 PWM Outputs Inputs 12 Analog Inputs 12 Digital Inputs 5 Speed Inputs 2 Knock Inputs Specialized Features for Enhanced Control: Boost Control: Multiple open and closed-loop strategies with table-based options for fine-tuned control Boost by Gear and Speed Switchable high/low boost tables Single Solenoid or Dome Control Supported Traction Control: Multi-strategy options including Perfect Run, RPM control, and VSS % slip Launch, Trans Brake, and Bump Box Control: Advanced launch strategies for racing applications Nitrous Control: Supports staged/progressive control for wet or dry nitrous setups Three-Step Rev Limiter: Includes Burnout, Launch, and Redline limiters with line-lock and flat shift options Speed Limiter: Pit-speed & Roll-Race limiters are also supported Flex Fuel Support: Configurable blending for fuel, spark, boost, and enrichment tables based on ethanol content Water Methanol Injection: Load and RPM-based variable injection control with low-fluid safety detection Safety and Protection Features: Engine Protection: Limp mode and check engine lights for critical sensors, promoting safe operation Knock Detection: Dual DSP-based knock inputs with fine-tuning capabilities for optimized performance RPM Limit vs Temperature: Limits RPM to protect the engine as temperature rises, ensuring safe operation Low Oil Pressure Shut Down: Shuts down the engine at a user-set oil pressure to prevent damage Fuel Pressure Compensation: Adjusts for fuel pressure changes to keep engine performance stable Advanced Data Logging and Diagnostics: High-Speed Data Logging: Internal SD card logging with up to 64 channels at 330Hz Real-Time Clock: Enables timestamped datalogs for easy retrieval via USB or serial connection Diagnostic LEDs: Five LEDs for visual monitoring and troubleshooting Connectivity and Expandability: CAN Support: Connects to Digital Dashes, I/O Expansions, and Transmission Controllers for enhanced control Firmware Upgrades: Easy software updates with no hidden charges or locked features, keeping the ECU up to date.
